Many of you have been so faithful in your prayers and encouragement and I am eternally thankful for you. You keep me going and help me to be excited about the future of this book. I pray that you will continue to be a part of this ministry and all that God has in store for this next year.
To be completely honest with you I still don’t feel like an author. I still don’t feel like I have anything of worth to offer anyone. But I trust wholeheartedly in the The Truth and His truth very clearly states that “He is before all things, and in Him all things hold together” (Colossians 1:17). Phew! Thank God that we are not in this crazy life alone and even in our deepest mess ups or hurts when we turn to Him He is there with us to hold it all together.
SO, while I am busy not holdings together and firmly relying on God to make the impossible possible, I pray that I will get to see you! I will be traveling down to Florida, up to Connecticut, and throughout North Carolina to share the message God laid on my heart for Your Daughter Needs a Hero. The message is this: somewhere along the line us women and young women stopped seeing ourselves as worth much of anything. Whether it is our looks, our weight, our talents, our capabilities…we look at ourselves and see all that we are lacking instead of all that we have been given. My tears and my heartbreak are for the daughters being raised up today, the cards have been stacked up high against their worth, their purity, their self confidence. I believe firmly that their first line of defense is the parents God has given to them. Together, may we begin to fight hard for this upcoming generation of women. They are dieing from the inside out right before our eyes and many of us do not even realize it. Let’s start fighting for them!
