God has been moving in so many amazing ways over the past few months. I have laughed with you, cried with you, and prayed with you as together we move towards a tomorrow where young women will look at themselves in the mirror and instead of downloading a barrage of personal insults they will say to themselves “You are Perfect, just the way you are.”
My heart continues to bleed for the young women God has placed in my life through this book writing process. I have not been able to take my mind off two families in particular. One family found out through school guidance counselors that their 12 year old daughter is struggling deeply with insecurity. Another families’ precious 14 year old is losing pound after pound in the name of “feeling better about herself.” I know exactly the feelings that those daughters are going through and while I cry with them in their pain I also thank God that they both have parents who know their daughter’s struggle and are taking steps to do something about it. The road is never easy, but there is hope that we can stand firm in.
If I have had the blessing of ministering to you and/or your family through Your Daughter Needs a Hero would you mind posting a review on Amazon? I would love to hear from you, learn what God has taught you through this process, and (most importantly)hear how you and your families are doing!
As always, I am available through email as well if there is any way I can pray for you or help you. May today be a bright day for you as you remember always that God performed a miracle when He made YOU!
